Frequently Asked Questions – Page 1

How do you generate your qualified traffic?
While the technical details are our proprietary technology protected by copyright, trade marks and patents (pending), suffice it to say that our dedicated servers are checking the World Wide Web for domain accessibility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In the course of this operation we are able to leave a customizable “footprint” on visited sites, enticing webmasters to follow up by visiting our clients' sites.
Note that only a very few webmasters will actually do this: not everyone has access to this footprint, nor do all webmasters check it out. It is entirely up to the webmaster to follow up or not. Hence, what we generate by way of traffic for our clients are those highly qualified, immensely tech savvy and curious webmasters who will take the cue we present them with – this makes our traffic generation service the most effective and efficient extant: we know of no other program offering this type of elite traffic world wide!

Isn't what you're offering a form of spam?
Categorically not! Our program does not employ email marketing (neither opt-in nor unsolicited), banner ads, newsgroup postings, search engine positioning or any other conventional marketing activity. The choice to actually visit our clients' sites is the targeted webmasters' alone.

How is the generated traffic gauged?
As all generated traffic is directed via our servers, we store full log and stats data. You will receive comprehensive weekly traffic reports which will also constitute the basis of service charges calculation.

We would like to monitor your incoming traffic on our own server as well. Is this possible?
There are basically two simple methods to effect this:
1. All traffic generated by us will carry our domain's unique “http_referer” variable. If your system allows for logging referrers (not all server setups do – if in doubt, check it with your system provider or administrator), you can run a stats analysis on your system logs and determine the amount of unique traffic generated.
2. Alternatively (or additionally) you can set up a dedicated web page to which traffic will be directed. Next, set up a counter program for this page and/or check your logs to determine the amount of unique traffic generated.

What is your definition of a “unique visitor”?
By our definition, a unique visitor is a surfer accessing your site once in two calendar weeks. If this visitor is tracked multiple times surfing your site, he/she will only be counted once for accounting purposes within this time frame.

How are unique visitors determined?
Unique visitors are determined by IP as this is the most reliable method extant.
